Induction Mentors
The Induction Mentor is the heart and center of the CJUHSD Induction Program. Each candidate enrolled in the CJUHSD Induction Program receives support from a fully released Induction Mentor within the first 30 days of their enrollment and receives an average of one hour per week of individualized mentoring and support. As candidates express individual growth needs, the Induction Mentor assists in providing opportunities for growth which meet those needs through weekly meetings, veteran teacher observations, reflective conversations, and professional learning workshops. |
Meet the Mentors

Can I switch mentors?
The CJUHSD Induction Program strives to provide quality support for all candidates. If a candidate desires to change the candidate/mentor match, the following procedures should be followed:
- The candidate or Mentor requests a change of assignment from the Director of Instruction.
- The Director will determine if a change is possible, keeping in mind number of mentors and credential match.
- The Director will notify the Site Administrator of this change.
